My Story

Hello, I’m Ann Hurst, a lifelong birder and nature enthusiast with a passion for the incredible diversity of wildlife and the beauty of the natural world. My journey led me to create this website where I can channel my love for birds, plants and other wildlife into practical creations of art in different mediums.

This creative process started with nature photography with a special focus on birds. Next, I added greeting cards, wanting to create cards that would be unique and capture peoples’ attention. So often we get bulk-printed grocery store cards that contain lifeless graphics. More recently I have made rope baskets with different wildlife designs that can be used as bowls or hung on walls.
